

Race Information
The Muscatine Triathlon, presented by Sqwincher®, will feature a Sprint Class event tailored for both seasoned athletes and newcomers to the triathlon scene. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Deep Lakes Park in Muscatine, Iowa, this thrilling event kicks off with a 750-meter swim, will transition to a 12.4-mile bike ride, and complete the triathlon with a 5K run.
Race Weekend Schedule & Event Details
All competitors may pick up their race packets on Friday, July 31st from 4:00–7:00 PM at Deep Lakes Park. On race day, the park will open at 5:00 AM, with the Muscatine Triathlon beginning promptly at 8:00 AM.
The Kids Splash-N-Dash races will begin at approximately 10:30 AM, immediately following the completion of the triathlon. Awards will be presented after the conclusion of the kids races and the completion of all events.
An after-party will follow the awards ceremony, featuring post-race activities for kids and a variety of vendors — making it a full day of competition and family fun at Deep Lakes Park.

Clydesdale & Athena Brackets are as follows:
220lbs + for men, 165lbs + for women,
with age breakdown of 39 and under,
and 40 and older.
Athena and Clydesdale Rule Change - 3.2 Age Group Competition
a. All age group athletes must participate and compete in the age group division corresponding to the athlete's age on December 31 of the year of the event.
b. Weight Class Division - In events where a weight class division is offered, the minimum weight shall be 220 pounds for men and 165 pounds for women, monitored by the event organizer. The weight class age categories for men and women shall be 39 years of age and under and 40 years of age and over. Participants are not eligible to compete in a weight class division and in an age group division at the same event.

The Kids Splash-N-Dash is an exciting youth event held in conjunction with the Muscatine Triathlon, designed to introduce young athletes to the sport in a fun, supportive, and professionally managed environment.

All swim segments are monitored by professional water safety personnel, and the run course is staffed by trained course safety personnel to ensure a secure and positive race experience. This event is USAT-sanctioned, and all participants will receive awards.

Entry is FREE with a paid, $10.00 USAT youth membership, which provides insurance coverage for your child’s participation. Please visit the USAT website for full membership details and registration information.
